Arindam Basu is a wine educator at PhillyWine LLC where he teaches all levels of WSET courses. He has his own consultancy business where he offers private wine tasting, wine classes and wine pairing dinners. He also works at Total Wine & More.
Trained as a molecular biologist (PhD in Molecular Biochemistry), Arindam found his passion for wines while teaching Anatomy & Physiology at Penn State University, which led to his Diploma in Wines from WSET in 2021. He has successfully earned several other wine and sake certifications as well. Previously, Arindam worked at Penns Woods Winery and was a sommelier at City Winery, Philadelphia while teaching wine classes at Cooperage in downtown Philadelphia.
Apart from being a wine educator and writer, Arindam is an avid cook, and often explores the BYOB scene in Philadelphia. He also loves to paint, drink scotch and IPAs.
